Marjelle Bouwhuis has been working at SMK since January 2025. As a junior project leader in animal agro-chains, she supports Team Animal Products. She is involved in the further development of On the Way to PlanetProof and will also contribute to various other projects.

Marjelle graduated as a veterinarian specializing in farm animals and veterinary public health. During her studies, she gained extensive knowledge of animal health and welfare. In addition to theoretical knowledge, she also acquired significant practical experience in the dairy farming sector.

Marjelle looks forward to contributing to the sustainability of livestock farming.
